The Declutter Fundraiser at Cat Cafe Studio Versova!

We are hosting our first ever fundraiser! Read along to see how you can be a part of it.

Declutter, sell and raise money for cats at Cat Cafe Studio.

We often end up with things we do not need — things that we bought on impulse or no longer use.

These items just pile up: some collect dust and some are no longer needed in our life.

The Declutter Fundraiser aims to help you declutter with the sales proceeds going towards the welfare of resident cats at Cat Cafe Studio.

How does the fundraiser work?

​When signing up you can choose to sign up as a seller or a buyer.

​As a seller, you can bring items that you wish to get rid of and help declutter your home.

​These can be listed for sale in multiples of 100:

​₹100, ₹200, ₹500, ₹1000, ₹2500, etc.

​As a buyer, you pick an item that you like and pay for it on the donation link. Once done, the item is yours!

​Perks of the fundraiser

​If you buy items worth ₹250, you can access the cat area on the day of the fundraiser.

​If you buy items worth ₹500, you can access the cat area on any given day within 30 days of the fundraiser.

​If you buy items worth ₹2000 or more you will receive 3 months of subscription to Uhtend.

​Which items can be sold

• ​Tech, audio equipment, camera equipment, etc.

• ​Vinyls, recorders, DVDs, CDs, etc.

• ​Board games, sports equipment, toy collections, etc.

• ​Books, manuals, guides, etc.

• ​Desk items, trinkets, figurines, etc.

​Which items CANNOT be sold

• ​Items with explicit or graphic content.

• ​Glassware, ceramics aka items prone to breakage.

• ​Inflammable items, items that emit smoke, items that look like weapons.

• ​Perishables: food, drinks, soaps, toothpastes, etc.

• ​Alcohol, cigarettes, illegal substances.

• ​Clothing and its related accessories.

​Things to keep in mind while bringing in items

• ​Please carry items that you can carry for 50 metres without huffing and puffing. We want to keep it fair for all sellers.

• ​If you have a car or pickup truck you can park it at a spot and bring in more items as you sell current ones.

• ​Any items that are prone to breakage must be carefully brought in by the seller and placed at the assigned spot.

• ​The cafe has resident pets that frequent the floor map as per their will; please be respectful towards them.

• ​The cafe's staff are assigned with handling orders and customer requests; as a seller feel free to contact Uhtend's team members to ensure proper placement of your items.

• ​Please label your items if possible - a small description and price goes a long way in providing clarity for buyers.

• ​Sellers trading amongst themselves will not be eligible for participation.

​Buyer's guide for the fundraiser

• ​The event is 3 hours long; you can drop in during the active hours to make your purchase.

• ​A buyer cannot sell at the event; nor can they trade items with a seller.

• ​Items sold are non-refundable: please check quality, confirm authenticity and ensure same-page deal with the seller.

• ​Bargaining at the event must be done keeping the pricing in mind - all items must be sold as multiples of 100 - eg: a book worth ₹300 being sold for ₹200 after negotiations.

​Cat Cafe Studio

​The first cat cafe in India, Cat Cafe Studio has a cat lounge, works on stray cat awareness and finding forever homes for elder cats.

​Uhtend

​Uhtend is a subscription for events in Mumbai which includes sports, meetups and experiences.
